Concerning the Friend, it was said: And thus We gave Abraham [his first] insight into [God's] mighty dominion over the heavens and the earth - and [this] to the end that he might become one of those who are inwardly sure - 6:75
Concerning the Beloved, it was said: “until he was but two bow-lengths away, or even nearer.” 53:9
The Friend prays for: “and who, (hope), will forgive me my faults on Judgment Day!”
The Beloved was told: “so that God might show His forgiveness of all thy faults, past as well as future, and [thus] bestow upon thee the full measure of His blessings, and guide thee on a straight way,” 48:2
The Friend asked for: “and do not put me to shame on the Day when all shall be raised from the dead” 26:87
The Beloved was bestowed as such: “on a Day on which God will not shame the Prophet and those who share his faith: their light will spread rapidly before them, and on their right” 66:8
The Friend said: “Allah is enough for me”
The Beloved was told: “O Prophet! God is enough for thee and those of the believers who follow thee!” 8:64
The Friend asked for: “and grant me the power to convey the truth unto those who will come after me” 26:84
The Beloved was given: “And [have We not] raised your mention?” 94:4
The Friend prayed for: “O my Sustainer! Make this land secure, and preserve me and my children from ever worshipping idols” 14:35
The Beloved was granted: “And God only wishes to remove all abomination from you’re your members of the Family, and to make you pure and spotless” 33:33
Peace and blessings be upon the Beloved Prophet s.a.w, and all the Prophets and Messengers of Allah.
